Elementor Integration Guide
Inspect page hierarchy, swap text and images across widgets, and clone Elementor templates with 20 specialized tools.
Overview
Editing page builder layouts with AI has historically been fragile because visual builders serialize JSON arrays deep inside WordPress postmeta (_elementor_data).
More MCP provides 20 dedicated Elementor tools (elementor_*) that parse, traverse, and safely modify the Elementor widget tree without corrupting container structures or losing element IDs.
Core Capabilities
1. Structure Inspection
elementor_get_page_outline: Extracts a lightweight hierarchy of sections, containers, and widget types without burning thousands of tokens on raw JSON data.elementor_get_widget_settings: Inspects the exact configuration object for a specific element ID.
2. Surgical In-Place Edits
elementor_replace_text: Walks the widget tree and substitutes text across headings, paragraphs, and buttons while preserving styling.elementor_replace_image: Swaps image URLs and attachment IDs across image widgets and background overlays.elementor_add_widget: Drops new widgets into containers with properly generated unique element IDs.
3. Template Management
elementor_clone_page: Clones an existing Elementor landing page to a new draft while regenerating every element ID to avoid duplicates.elementor_list_local_templates: Lists saved templates from the Elementor Library.elementor_import_template: Imports an Elementor JSON template export into your library.
Safe Revision Workflow
When editing Elementor pages, More MCP automatically triggers a WordPress post revision before any modification is saved to the database. If an AI edit does not meet your expectations:
- Open the page in WordPress.
- Review the revision history in the sidebar.
- Click Restore this revision with one click.
