Shared contract. These tools are not specific to Forminator. More MCP exposes one forms contract that resolves to whichever supported plugin is installed, so the same calls work for Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Ninja Forms, Formidable Forms.
forms_listmanage_options

List forms across active form plugins (Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, Contact Form 7, WPForms, Ninja Forms, Elementor Pro Forms, Formidable Forms). Returns id, provider, title, active flag, and entry_count for each. Normalized so every provider looks the same. Contact Form 7 keeps no submissions, so its rows always report entry_count 0; WPForms reports 0 unless WPForms Pro (which stores entries) is active. Elementor form ids are the composite "<post_id>_<element_id>". Read-only.

Ability IDmore-mcp/forms-listRequiresmanage_options
forms_getmanage_options

Get one form and its normalized field schema: [{id, label, type, required}]. Provider identity must be supplied because form ids are only unique within a provider. Works for every form provider including Contact Form 7. Read-only.

Ability IDmore-mcp/forms-getRequiresmanage_options
forms_list_entriesmanage_options

List submissions for a form, paginated. Returns SUMMARY rows only (id, date, status, is_read), never field values, which can hold personal data. Use forms_get_entry for an addressed full read. Filters: status, start_date, end_date. Returns {total, page, per_page, pages, returned, has_more, entries[]}. Only providers that store submissions (Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, WPForms Pro, Ninja Forms, Elementor Pro Forms, Formidable Forms) are accepted; Contact Form 7 keeps no entries, and WPForms Lite stores none. Formidable has no trash, spam, or read state (submitted/draft only), and its write tools refuse by name; trash and spam filters return an empty set with a note. Elementor Pro Forms has no spam state, so a spam filter returns an empty set with a note.

Ability IDmore-mcp/forms-list-entriesRequiresmanage_options
forms_get_entrymanage_options

Read one submission in full, including field values. Sensitive metadata (IP, user agent, browser/device, and payment/transaction fields) is redacted by default. This is the addressed read that returns personal data; list tools never do. Only providers that store submissions (Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, WPForms Pro, Ninja Forms, Elementor Pro Forms) are accepted. Ninja Forms stores only published/trashed submissions, so its status changes accept "active" (restore) and trashing; spam/read/unread are refused. Elementor Pro Forms stores new/trash plus a read flag (no spam).

Ability IDmore-mcp/forms-get-entryRequiresmanage_options
forms_get_statsmanage_options

Aggregate submission counts for a form by status, without returning any submission bodies. Only providers that store submissions (Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, WPForms Pro, Ninja Forms, Elementor Pro Forms) are accepted. Ninja Forms stores only published/trashed submissions, so its status changes accept "active" (restore) and trashing; spam/read/unread are refused. Read-only.

Ability IDmore-mcp/forms-get-statsRequiresmanage_options
forms_update_entry_statusmanage_options

Change one submission's status through the provider's own API. Normalized status: active, spam, read, unread (mapped per provider). Emits an undo token. Requires an admin capability. Only providers that store submissions (Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, WPForms Pro, Ninja Forms, Elementor Pro Forms) are accepted. Ninja Forms stores only published/trashed submissions, so its status changes accept "active" (restore) and trashing; spam/read/unread are refused. Elementor Pro Forms accepts active/read/unread; spam is refused (it has no spam state).

Ability IDmore-mcp/forms-update-entry-statusRequiresmanage_options
forms_trash_entrymanage_options

Move one submission to trash (never a permanent delete). Two-part confirmation: call without confirm to receive a preview of the target and write nothing; call with confirm=true AND confirm_entry_id matching entry_id to apply. Emits an undo token that restores the prior status. Requires an admin capability. Only providers that store submissions (Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, WPForms Pro, Ninja Forms, Elementor Pro Forms) are accepted. Ninja Forms stores only published/trashed submissions, so its status changes accept "active" (restore) and trashing; spam/read/unread are refused.
