Shared contract. These tools are not specific to FluentSMTP. More MCP exposes one email / smtp contract that resolves to whichever supported plugin is installed, so the same calls work for WP Mail SMTP, Easy WP SMTP, Post SMTP.
email_get_statusmanage_options

Read the site's outgoing-email (SMTP) configuration status through an installed mailer plugin (WP Mail SMTP, Easy WP SMTP, FluentSMTP, Post SMTP). Returns the active mailer slug, whether setup is complete, the non-secret From name and From email, and the last send-error summary when the plugin exposes one. Credentials, API keys, and passwords are NEVER returned, and there is no write tool: this is diagnostic only. Read-only.
